Sacred Punjab Road Trip – Gurudwara Darshan
Day 1: Arrival in Amritsar
Begin your spiritual journey by arriving in Amritsar, the vibrant city known as the heart of Sikhism. Check into your hotel and freshen up. Later, visit the magnificent Golden Temple, Sri Harmandir Sahib, to offer prayers and soak in the divine atmosphere. Spend time at the sacred Sarovar and participate in the serene evening Palki Sahib ceremony. Overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 2: Amritsar – Tarn Taran – Goindwal Sahib – Khadoor Sahib
After breakfast, drive to Tarn Taran Sahib, renowned for its largest holy tank among all Gurudwaras. Offer your prayers and continue to Goindwal Sahib, the first Sikh pilgrimage center, where devotees perform parikrama and take a holy dip in the Baoli Sahib. Proceed to Khadoor Sahib, associated with Guru Angad Dev Ji. Later, return to Amritsar for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Amritsar – Sri Damdama Sahib – Bathinda
Post breakfast, depart for Sri Damdama Sahib in Talwandi Sabo, one of the five Takhts of Sikhism. Spend time in this revered Gurudwara, where Guru Gobind Singh Ji compiled the final edition of the Guru Granth Sahib. Continue your journey to Bathinda and check into your hotel. Enjoy a peaceful evening and overnight stay in Bathinda.
Day 4: Bathinda – Anandpur Sahib – Chandigarh
Today, drive to Anandpur Sahib, famously known as the birthplace of the Khalsa Panth. Visit Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, where Guru Gobind Singh Ji founded the Khalsa in 1699. After darshan, explore the rich Sikh history preserved at the Virasat-e-Khalsa Museum. Later, proceed to Chandigarh and check into your hotel. Overnight stay in Chandigarh.
Day 5: Chandigarh – Sri Fatehgarh Sahib – Departure
After breakfast, travel to Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, the site commemorating the martyrdom of the younger Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Offer your respects at the main Gurudwara complex and reflect on their immense sacrifice. After darshan, proceed back to Chandigarh. Your sacred journey concludes here with divine blessings and cherished memories.
