Day 1: Chandigarh to Srinagar – Arrival in Paradise
Your journey to heaven on earth begins with a flight or drive from Chandigarh to Srinagar. On arrival, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel or houseboat on the serene Dal Lake. Spend the afternoon relaxing and taking in the breathtaking views of the Zabarwan Mountains. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful Shikara ride on Dal Lake as the sun sets behind the snow-capped peaks. Day 2: Srinagar Sightseeing – Gardens and Heritage
After breakfast, set out to explore Srinagar’s famous Mughal Gardens. Begin with Shalimar Bagh, built by Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife, and then visit Nishat Bagh, known for its terraced lawns and cascading fountains. Continue to the beautiful Chashme Shahi Garden and the historic Pari Mahal. In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Shankaracharya Temple, which offers panoramic views of Srinagar city and Dal Lake. Return to your hotel or houseboat for a relaxing evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 3: Excursion to Gulmarg – The Meadow of Flowers
Today, after breakfast, take a day trip to Gulmarg, one of Kashmir’s most enchanting hill stations. Drive through picturesque villages and lush meadows. On arrival, you can take the Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable cars in the world, for panoramic views of the Himalayas. Enjoy activities like horse riding or simply walk through the meadows covered in wildflowers. By evening, return to Srinagar. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 4: Excursion to Pahalgam – A Riverside Retreat
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, the “Valley of Shepherds,” set along the beautiful Lidder River. En route, stop at the saffron fields of Pampore and the ancient ruins of Avantipur Temple. On arrival in Pahalgam, you can take a nature walk along the river, visit Aru and Betaab Valley (optional), or enjoy a short horse ride. In the evening, drive back to Srinagar. Day 5: Departure from Srinagar – Bidding Farewell to Kashmir
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast while admiring the tranquil lake views. Later, check out from your hotel or houseboat and proceed to Srinagar Airport for your return journey to Chandigarh, carrying with you unforgettable memories of Kashmir’s unmatched beauty and serenity.
