Day 1: Arrival in Jammu – The Land of Temples
Your journey begins as you arrive in Jammu, the vibrant city known for its temples and heritage. You will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Later, visit Raghunath Temple, one of the largest temple complexes in northern India, and spend some time exploring the bustling Raghunath Bazaar. Relax in the evening and prepare for your journey into Kashmir. Overnight stay in Jammu.
Day 2: Jammu to Srinagar – Entering Paradise
After breakfast, check out and drive toward Srinagar. Enjoy the beautiful route that winds along the Jhelum River and passes through the Chenani-Nashri Tunnel, the longest tunnel in India. Arrive in Srinagar by afternoon and check into your hotel or charming houseboat on Dal Lake. Later, enjoy a serene Shikara ride as the sun sets over the water. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 3: Srinagar Sightseeing – Mughal Gardens and Old City
Post breakfast, set out to discover Srinagar’s rich heritage. Visit Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi – the famous Mughal gardens built along the shores of Dal Lake. Continue to Pari Mahal, perched above the city with panoramic views. In the afternoon, explore Jama Masjid and Shah Hamdan Mosque, known for their intricate wooden architecture. Return to your accommodation to relax. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 4: Excursion to Gulmarg – Meadow of Flowers
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, a stunning meadow surrounded by snow-capped peaks and pine forests. You can enjoy a ride on the Gulmarg Gondola to Apharwat Peak, take a leisurely walk across the meadows, or explore the historic St. Mary’s Church. In winter, Gulmarg becomes a famous skiing destination. Return to Srinagar by evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 5: Excursion to Pahalgam – Valley of Shepherds
Today after breakfast, head out for an excursion to Pahalgam. En route, stop at the saffron fields of Pampore and the ancient ruins of Avantipur Temple. Arrive in Pahalgam, set along the Lidder River, and explore the scenic Aru Valley and Betaab Valley (optional). Enjoy a riverside walk or a pony ride through the meadows. Return to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 6: Excursion to Sonmarg – The Meadow of Gold
After breakfast, drive to Sonmarg, a breathtaking valley known for its alpine meadows and glaciers. You can take a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier or simply relax by the Sindh River. In summer, the valley blooms with wildflowers, making it a photographer’s delight. Return to Srinagar by evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 7: Departure from Srinagar – Memories of Kashmir
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast while taking in the views over Dal Lake. Later, check out and transfer to Srinagar Airport or drive back to Jammu for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of Kashmir’s valleys, gardens, and timeless beauty.
